吴疆 , 1994 年南开大学中国哲学专业硕士，2002 年美国哈佛大学宗教学博士，师从杜维明与詹密罗 (Robert Gimello)教授，专治十七世纪中国宗教思想史，现为美国亚利桑那大学东亚系教授，佛教研究中心主任。出版专著 Enlightenment in Dispute: The Reinvention of Chan Buddhism in Seventeenth-century China《僧诤与禅悟：十七世纪中国禅宗的复兴》（牛津大学出版社， 2008）以及 Leaving for the Rising Sun: Chinese Zen Master Yinyuan and the Authenticity Crisis in Early Modern East Asia 《蹈海东瀛：中国禅僧隐元与前近代东亚的本真危机》（牛津大学出版社，2015）。另外编著有 Spreading Buddha's Word in East Asia: The Formation and Transformation of the Chinese Buddhist Canon 《法宝东渐：汉文佛教大藏经的形成与演变》（与贾晋珠教授合编，哥伦比亚大学出版社, 2016），Reinventing the Tripitaka: Transformation of the Buddhist Canon in Modern East Asia 《法宝重光：佛教大藏经在现代东亚的演进》（与 Greg Wilkinson 教授合编，莱克星顿出版社，2018）。另有论文多篇。
吴疆教授于2018年5月至6月在中心从事访问研究。
