River Societies: Old Problems, New Solutions—A Comparative Reflection about the Yangtze River and the Rhine
Zhaokuan Hao is professor and vice president of department of philosophy of Fudan University. He studied at Beijing Normal University, Department of Philosophy Beijing University, Department of Mathematics of University of Utrecht. He received his Ph.D. Degree from Peking University in 2000. Main research areas of Professor Hao include mathematical logic, set theory and the philosophy of mathematics. In 2004, his thesis" Lambda-calculus and vertical lines theorem" won the China Association’s first Logic Research Award for Outstanding Achievement Award.
