Ruth Mostern

Ruth Mostern has been an associate professor in the Department of History at University of Pittsburgh since 2016, at present, she is director of World History Center in this university. She received his PHD in University of California at Berkeley.


She has published Following the Tracks of Yu: The Ecological and Imperial Worlds of the Yellow River (proposal under review June 2017, estimated completion August 2019), and Dividing the Realm in Order to Govern: The Spatial Organization of the Song State (960-1276 CE), (2011 Harvard University Asia Center Monographs distributed by Harvard University Press).


Professor Mostern will stay at Fudan University from May to June, 2019.
