Fan Xin has been an assistant professor in the Department of History at State University of New York at Fredonia since 2013. He received his PHD in Indiana University.
He is a book review editor inChina and Asia: A Journal in Historical Studies.
He has published The Vulnerable Consensus: World History and National Identity in Twentieth-Century China,and will publish Receptions of Greek and Roman Antiquity in East Asia(co-edited with Renger, Almut-Barbara ).
